Atomic Kitten singer Liz McClarnon and actress and fashion designer Sadie Frost are among celebrities supporting Cancer Research UK's Mother's Day campaign.

The initiative is encouraging people to celebrate the special memories they share with their mums, by posting a picture on social media with the hashtag #MyMumAndMe, and donating money for life-saving research to protect more moments with mums in the future. CRUK ambassador McClarnon said 'When my mum was diagnosed with cancer it was absolutely devastating, nothing can prepare you for that. That's why I'm asking people to join me and support Cancer Research UK this Mother's Day'.
